The idea of ​​Kou-kou ... Ta! was born years ago. Playing the peek-a-boo game (kou-kou-ta in Greek baby talk) with my favorite nieces, their sweet voice remained engraved in my mind saying "Kou-kou ... Ta!!!" So when when the time came for me to become a mommy myself, I raise my son playing with him,

Kou-kou... Ta!!!

Along with motherhood - which came while I was living alone abroad, in the UK - I ‘ve had a first hand experience of having to meet the different needs of my child, finding out that he belongs to the ASD.

...Different needs in food, play and even clothing became an every-day life issue.

My child's sensory quests led me to create a huge list of everything that made him feel comfortable and at ease, gave him joy and helped him to self-regulate quickly.

In this way I also helped myself not to get lost in the constant search for life-saving solutions in times of crisis aka, tantrums.

The list was filled with hacks and tricks that lifted his spirits, motivated him to learn new things and most of all kept his interest away from the screen as much as possible!

They encouraged my child to find his own ways of self-regulation through wonderful toys, especially cared for both in terms of materials and in construction.

Toys are our children's means for dealing with the difficulties they face and their tools to learn life itself!
